Low-income internet plans

Many providers offer one.

4 min read

The federal Affordable Connectivity Program ended in 2024 when its funding ran out, but many internet providers offer their own lower-cost plans for eligible households.

How to find one

  • Ask your provider directly about low-income or affordable plans
  • Eligibility is often based on programs like SNAP, Medicaid or school lunch
  • Check your state or city; some offer their own programs
  • Combine with Lifeline if you qualify
